A professor of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Dr. McGowan has published research on thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermal systems analysis, with a focus on renewable energy systems and fluid dynamics. Dr. McGowan was engaged by Flooid Power Systems as an impartial expert to conduct an assessment of the Flooid Power process and its potential. Among his findings: “…the overall system does appear to be viable and unique in concept…the Flooid Power process is viable, does not violate the laws of Thermodynamics, and deserves further exploration as a potential means of generating significant amounts of renewable energy.”
Initially retained by FPS as an “outside expert” to impartially assess the Flooid Power process, Dr. McGowan will continue to be an integral part of the company. With his deep underlying expertise and current knowledge of Flooid Power’s unique energy development process, Dr. McGowan will be a valuable member of the Flooid Power team as we develop the company’s IP portfolio and engineering staff.
