The world already has an extraordinary ability to make power from a variety of resources. By introducing a way to make more electricity with the same amount of fuel, we can lower the cost, promote the move to decarbonization, lower our carbon footprint and spur technology innovation like AI-data centers, plasma gasification, and potable water and food production. The extra electricity can be used to improve our way of life, protect the planet, and ensure the next generation has a better world than ours.
Uses displacement to drive hydro-turbines.
Has the ability to power over 16,000 homes. Has 5x the output of photovoltaic (PV) on half the amount of land. Coupled with thermal storage can operate 24 hours/day and up to two weeks in cloudy/rainy weather without collecting additional solar.
Average installed cost is 3M per megawatt of installed capacity.
Our concentrating collectors fold up in the event of snow, ice or severe weather to protect collector assets from damage. Then unfolds when event has passed to resume solar collection.
Can be designed to withstand up to hurricane force winds.
Nuclear power is a clear path to sustainable clean power. These power plants convert into electricity typically at lower conversion levels, and the new Small Modular Reactors (SMR) are even lower. Using the FPS tower would generate 2X to 3X more electricity with the same reactor lowering the cost of nuclear power per Megawatt of production. Coupling these SMR's with our thermal storage system would be particularly useful levelizing power outputs for data and AI centers where power continuously fluctuates making it a difficult challenge.
